 The legendary songwriter, producer, guitarist and vocalist Jim Messina (Loggins and Messina, Buffalo Springfield, Poco) joined The Don's Hit List to discuss his upcoming shows in 2020 as well as the songs "You Mama Don't Dance", "Travelin' Blues", "Be Free" as well as what it was like during the Buffalo Springfield, Poco, and Loggins and Messina projects.

Ep 53: Henry Gross

 Legendary singer songwriter Henry Gross joins The Don's Hit List to go through the goosebump moments in his music.  Henry Gross will be performing at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Saturday December 14th with Sha Na Na and his own songs.   We discuss his early career including a move to Nashville working with Roger Cook.   His tours with the English music legend Joe Brown.   We also go in depth on the song that affected me so much in the 70s and still does to this day in "Shannon". 

Ep 40: Brady Rymer of From Good Homes

Brady Rymer of From Good Homes joins The Don's Hit List to discuss the goosebump moments in the band's collection.   Their "Sunshine" gets me all emotional and we discuss it.  Also, "Sun and Moon" from their latest album also hits me deep.   

Ep 25: Danny Worsnop

Danny Worsnop (Frontman of Asking Alexandria) returns to his roots and has released a solo record titled "Shades Of Blue".  Danny chats with The Don's Hit List Podcast about several of the songs from the album that have the goosebump moments.   He also has tips for other songwriters and performers.

"The Don" chats with the Americana/Folk/Singer Songwriters The Currys.  We review the 'goosebump' moments in their songs.   

Ep 36: John Van Deusen

John Van Deusen joins The Don's Hit List to go through the goosebump moments in his music.   The Police, XTC, The Posies, The Pixies are a huge influence on John and it comes out in his songwriting.  

Ep 44: Alice Limoges

Singer Songwriter Alice Limoges joins The Don's Hit List to go through the goosebump moments along with her latest single "Yellowstone".   Alice has an incredible voice and she started writing and recording songs when she was 16 years old.  Originally from Maine, she resides in NYC.

Fun Fact:  Danielle uses her tremendous songwriting, vocals, and guitar playing talent to help patients heal at Tampa General Hospital.

Brianna's home state is New Jersey.  We play the 'goosebump' moment in her original "Not Enough".  We also go through Fleetwood Mac and associated acts music and find the 'goosebump' moments and critique in a positive way.
